Bay Cycles Road Collection

Starting from Market Way car park in Chudleigh, this circular route has a gentle start along the Teign Valley then a steady climb over Longdown to Exeter Quay for coffee. The route returns with a tough climb through Ide and Haldon Forest back to the start point.

Starting from Cricketfield car park in Newton Abbot, this rolling circular route follows the National Cycle route to Ivybridge for coffee. The return routes you through the South Hams back to the start point.

Starting from the car park at Bovey Tracey, this South Dartmoor Loop begins with the iconic Haytor Hill Climb before routing you through the villages of Widecombe, Princetown, Yelverton, Ivybridge, Buckfastleigh & Ashburton, using some of the National Park's most picturesque roads.

Bay Cycles Mountain Bike Collection

This is a non-technical MTB ride (Blue Trail). It starts from the main car park at Princetown and follows well established tracks to Burrator Reservoir then returns via the former Princetown railway track.

This variation of the Burrator Loop is a little more technical but it is still rollable, (you don't have to be able to jump or grab air). The descent to Norsworthy includes a section known as the 'Widow Maker' which is a rough stony track. The climb back to Eylesbarrow is a bit of a leg burner - the perfect way to experience the value of an eMTB bike!

Bay Cycles Leisure Ride Collection

This ride starts in Newton Abbot and follows the Stover Trail to Bovey Tracey and then the Wray Valley Trail to Moretonhampstead. Most of this route is traffic free cycle paths. The return from Bovey Tracey follows quiet roads and a cycle lane. Good Coffee stop options at Bovey Tracey and Moretonhampstead.

As a shorter option, this ride starts in Newton Abbot and follows the Stover Trail to Bovey Tracey, the gateway to Dartmoor National Park. The return route follows a mix of quiet roads and cycle lanes. Suitable for cyclists of all abilities.

Our Bay Cycles Shop ride through the English Rivera follows the coast roads to Goodrington where there is a purpose built Velo Park & Pump Track. Our ride returns through Torbay to our shop in St Marychurch. A lumpy little ride that is a good test for both rider and bike.
