With Whyte & Trek Bikes both winning multiple Mountain bike awards in recent years, when it comes to Mountain biking at Bay Cycles we have the most innovative Mountain bikes available for all styles.

Whyte T-130C RS (2019) £3,499.00

The new T-130 takes the playful, do-it-all attitude of its award-winning predecessor and massively updates it with more capable suspension, latest generation Whyte OTO geometry and sleeker packaging.

The T-130 geometry was designed around a shorter 37mm offset fork. The extra front end grip this creates, allows us to make the most of the 140mm travel fork, fully exploiting the capabilities for the new chassis, the more neutral handling and the 2.6″ tyres.

SRAM’s Eagle GX 12 speed drive-train is used on the T-130 C RS. This 500% range 10-50 cassette allows the chainring to be increased to 32t, giving both top and bottom range improvement.

Trek Remedy 8 27.5 (2019) £2,700.00

This is our best blend of performance and value in the Remedy family: an Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame with the same spec as much higher-end bikes makes this model a smokin’ deal.

RE:aktiv damping keeps the shock firm for efficient pedalling and pumping, and instantly soaks up bumps to keep you in control.

It surfs down rough trails and conquers jumps with sure-footed confidence, then flies back to the top with its extra-low 50-tooth climbing gear.

The shifter-style, underbar remote dropper post lever is super intuitive and easy to use.

Trek Fuel EX 8 29 (2019) £2,700.00

If you measure quality in performance per pound, you won’t do better than Fuel EX 8.

You sense its capability immediately, like when you’re charging through sections of trail that you never thought you’d clean.

It’s great for riders who don’t want to do just one kind of mountain biking, but want to explore everything from XC marathons to epic descents.

The shifter-style, underbar remote dropper post lever is super intuitive and easy to use.

Trek Marlin 5 (2019) £395.00

It’s a real mountain bike that’s also perfectly suited to daily commutes, rides around campus or just getting from A to B on any surface.

Smaller frame sizes (13.5˝ and 15.5˝) have short-reach brake levers that make it easier and more comfortable for riders with smaller hands to brake confidently.

It has separate brake and gear levers (a feature that’s common on more expensive mountain bikes) so you can fine-tune the positioning for comfort.

Rack and kickstand mounts make it easy to accessorise, so your mountain bike can double as a rugged commuter.

Like every Trek, it’s backed by a lifetime warranty.

Trek Marlin 7 (2019) £550.00

The Marlin 7 is where race-worthy mountain bikes begin. The smooth, lightweight RockShox forks and widest range of gearing in the Marlin family make this model the best choice for new riders who want a cross-country hardtail with great parts that will hold its own against higher-end race bikes

Great suspension at an even better price

It’s really fun to ride, and feels like a much more expensive mountain bike

All the value, plus all the versatiliy – it’s a total race-worthy mountain bike, with rack mounts if you use it for commuting too
